Origin of the
data
We primarily process data that you provide to us directly or that is generated through your use of our website, app, or shops. We also receive data from your company, such as contact details, as well as from ordering and procurement platforms and billing partners. Additional data is obtained from public sources, such as the commercial register, and from credit reports provided by credit agencies.
Which data we process and why
Website. Our website is hosted by Webflow, Inc., San Francisco, USA. Data is stored in the USA (Amazon Web Services) and delivered via the Cloudflare network. When you visit our website, technically necessary data is stored in server log files: IP address, date and time, page visited, referrer URL, browser, and operating system. This data is used to ensure the secure and stable operation of the website and is stored only for as long as is necessary for this purpose.
Contacting us. When you contact us via email or phone, we process your information in order to respond to your request.
Contact form. When you use our contact form, we process the information you provide (name, email address, message, and optionally company and phone number) to respond to your inquiry. The inquiry is sent to us via email and is also stored by our hosting provider, where it is deleted after a maximum of 12 months. To protect against spam and misuse, we use Google reCAPTCHA in our form (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, and Google LLC, USA). reCAPTCHA checks whether the input is made by a human. For this purpose, data such as your IP address, browser and device information, usage data, and potentially cookies are transmitted to Google, including to the USA. We have a legitimate interest in protecting our form from automated access. Further information can be found at policies.google.com/privacy.
Market report and price list. We publish our market report on this website. Customers receive their price list and a notification regarding the latest market report via email. To do this, we process the contact person's email address, name, and company. We only send this information to customers and only regarding our own similar offerings. You may opt out of receiving these emails at any time by using the link provided in every email or by sending an email to info@kellergemuese.ch. We will then remove you from our mailing list.
Customers and orders. We process company and address details, names and contact information for points of contact, order, delivery and billing data, payment and credit information, as well as correspondence. This also applies to orders placed via our ordering app, online shop, or connected ordering and procurement platforms. These data are processed for the purposes of contract fulfillment, delivery, billing, customer support, and the further development of our services. Before entering into or expanding a business relationship, we may check creditworthiness and obtain information from credit agencies for this purpose. We create a user account for the app and the shop.
Suppliers and partners. We use contact and contract details for procurement, quality assurance, traceability, and payment processing.
Job applications. We use application documents exclusively for the recruitment process.
Other purposes. We also process personal data to comply with legal obligations (e.g., accounting, food safety regulations), to protect and enforce our legal claims, to ensure the security of our IT systems, and in the context of corporate transactions such as financing, investments, or the sale of business units. We may inform our business clients about our offerings. You may object to this at any time.
To enter into a contract with us, we require the necessary information. Without these details, we are unable to accept orders or process deliveries.

Google Analytics. With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, with Google LLC, USA, acting as a sub-processor. Google Analytics uses cookies to track how our website is used, including pages visited, time spent on the site, device and browser information, approximate region, and traffic source. We use these insights to improve our content and user experience. IP addresses are not stored. Google Signals, ad personalization, and detailed location and device data are disabled. Data is deleted after 14 months. You can find more information at policies.google.com/privacy.
Microsoft Clarity. With your consent, we use Microsoft Clarity. The provider is Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Ireland, in conjunction with Microsoft Corporation, USA. Using cookies, Clarity records how visitors interact with our website, such as mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling behavior, and presents this as heatmaps and session recordings. Text and input fields are masked and are not recorded. We use these insights to make our website more intuitive and user-friendly. Recordings are deleted after 30 days, and other data after 9 months. Further information can be found at privacy.microsoft.com.
You can prevent data collection by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity by declining consent in the cookie banner or by withdrawing it via "Cookie Settings."
